I received my transition trunk during the summer of 2017. After receiving my transition trunk, I attended Old Dominion University where I am currently a Senior.
My favorite item in the trunk was the shower caddy that I got. It was extremely helpful to have while sharing a bathroom with 2 other people especially since it was limited space.
During my senior year, Ms. Hines was one of the best teachers I had. She taught me how to be resislient and not to give up. Even when I joined FCCLA at the tech center she was still encouraging me along the way.
The best piece of advice that I received from Ms. Hines was to always choose what I think is best for me and to keep trying even when I don’t want to.
