FACS is an acronym for Family and Consumer Sciences. This is the new name for Home Economics, a traditional elective courses teaching individuals life skills to survive and manage their home, health, and total wellbeing.
In the community, with the community, and for the community, we will host free classes to teach life skills as well as host informative sessions and forums to help minorities in the RVA area to succeed and improve their quality of life. Events will be created to promote financial literacy, balancing work and family, physical, mental, and spiritual health, consumer economics, and more!
Goal: Raise $500 a month to provide free courses to RVA residents teaching Family and Consumer Science skills.
